This is a pot good for boiling tea as well as brewing tea. Usually use to boil the aged tea that has been brewed for many times, because boiling tea will squeeze every single last taste that remain. Aged tea is highly recommended to boil after brewing. Some tea like Dark Tea, can be boil right from the beginning.
Instruction for boiling tea
Put the brewed aged tea leaves in the pot and fill the pot with hot water (recommended at lease 2 to 3 times the pot size that you are using to brew) and boil it with low fire. Boil slowly until smoke comes out from the spout then put out the fire and let it cool down for a minute or two. The tea is ready to serve then.

For boiling tea, the pot must meet certain criteria
1 ~ Large capacity (recommended 5 times the capacity of the pot you are using to brew)
2 ~ Thick wall (thin wall teapot cannot stand heat)
3 ~ Spout need to have filter (single hole teapot is not suitable)
4 ~ Tall shape (short shape teapot like Fang Gu Hu is not suitable)
5 ~ Long spout (short spout teapot like Xi Shi Hu is not suitable)
6 ~ Must be clay (stainless steel and others are not suitable)
